Isaiah Latta

I'm a graduate of American Lineman College in Bakersfield, California, with extensive experience in rigging and working at heights from my 5 years as a professional stagehand. Most recently I worked as a flatbed driver for Heavy AV (Jan–Sep 2026), and before that as a Groundman at Crux Subsurfacing in Crescent City, CA (geotechnical core-sample drilling), where I ran 7/12s (84-hour weeks) in tough field conditions — proving reliability, stamina, and commitment.

I'm currently a Groundman with Christenson Electric in McKenzie Bridge, OR, working 5/10s on the construction of a large load bank facility built to absorb excess power from a nearby hydroelectric plant. My work includes excavation and backfilling, placing and leveling 9" gravel lifts up to 2.6 ft, cad-welding underground grounding connections, vibrating concrete, and operating a skid steer, mini excavator, and heavy excavator — plus hauling water via tanker truck with my Class A CDL. It's hands-on, physically demanding work that's building directly on my lineman training, and I'm continuing to pursue a full lineman apprenticeship.
