American Lineman College Graduate
CDL Class A · Climbing Certified · OSHA-10 — ready to hit the ground running and grow into the trade.
Get to know me
I'm a graduate of American Lineman College in Bakersfield, California, with extensive experience in rigging and working at heights from my 5 years as a professional stagehand. Most recently I worked as a Groundman at Crux Subsurfacing in Crescent City, CA (geotechnical core-sample drilling) from September 2025 to January 2026, where I ran 7/12s (84-hour weeks) in tough field conditions — proving reliability, stamina, and commitment.
I'm currently a flatbed driver for Heavy AV — delivering and picking up fences, decks, trusses, and the rest of the gear required for stage builds — putting my Class A CDL to work every day. I'm actively pursuing a lineman apprenticeship, and my CDL with tanker and triples/doubles endorsements, climbing certification, and safety training make me exceptionally prepared to start day one.
What I bring
Class A CDL with tanker and triples/doubles endorsements. Experienced operating large vehicles and versed in DOT regulations.
Certified climber with 5 years of light rigging from stagehand work. Comfortable working at heights and around heavy equipment.
OSHA-10 certified with flagger certification. A strong, proven commitment to safety protocols in high-risk environments.
ALC graduate with hands-on training in pole climbing, transformer installation, and underground systems.
Current First Aid and CPR certification. Able to respond effectively to worksite emergencies and injuries.
Experienced in crew coordination from stagehand and drilling work. Clear communication in high-risk team environments.
Where I've been
Running a Class A flatbed for a live-event production company — delivering and picking up fences, decks, trusses, and the rest of the gear required for stage builds. Daily load securement, DOT compliance, and tight-window coordination with build crews.
Geotechnical core-sampling drilling company. Handled heavy lifting, worked on and around heavy drilling machinery, and ran safe worksite setup/cleanup with tight crew coordination to hit production and safety targets. Sustained a demanding 7/12s schedule (seven days a week, 12-hour shifts) to meet project timelines while keeping operations safe.
Comprehensive training across pole climbing, transformer installation, underground systems, and electrical theory — hands-on with industry-standard equipment and safety protocols.
Heavy lifting, light rigging, and occasional leadership. Built and operated rigging systems, worked at heights, and coordinated with crews under tight deadlines.
Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker and triples/doubles endorsements. Trained in vehicle operation, safety procedures, and DOT regulations.
